Lash Extension Aftercare
Consistent aftercare keeps your extensions looking full, clean, and long-lasting. Please follow the instructions below to protect both your extensions and natural lashes.

Cleanse along the lash line and through the extensions to remove makeup, oil, and debris.
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry.Gently brush through lashes with a clean spoolie once dry.
*Important reminder:
Cleansing in the shower is not recommended, as it’s difficult to ensure the lashes are thoroughly cleaned.
A regular face cleanser is not sufficient for lash extensions.
A proper lash cleanser is required to maintain the health of the lash line and prevent buildup on the extensions.
-
Avoid steam, & heavy humidity.
Do not use saunas, hot yoga, or steam rooms.
Avoid rubbing or sleeping face down.
Keep lashes clean but be gentle around the eye area.
-
Oil-based makeup removers or skincare near the lash line. This can cause buildup.
Waterproof mascara or eyeliner.
Picking, pulling, or twisting extensions.
Lash curlers.
Heavy creams or serums directly on the lash line.
Excessive heat or steam directly to the face. (ex: over, blowdryer, fire pit)
-
Brush lashes gently each morning and after cleansing.
Sleep on your back or side when possible to prevent friction.
Keep makeup minimal around the eyes for best retention.
Schedule fills every 2–3 weeks to maintain fullness.
Arrive to fill appointments with clean lashes.
-
Healthy natural lashes are the foundation of every set.
Avoid pulling or removing extensions yourself.
If you notice excessive shedding or irritation, contact the studio.
Regular cleansing and proper fills will keep both your natural lashes and extensions looking their best.
Improper aftercare or buildup from poor cleansing can compromise retention and lash health. In these cases, a full removal and new full set may be required at the client’s expense to safely reset the lashes and maintain quality results.
-
Lash fills are required every 2–3 weeks to maintain both the appearance and health of your natural lashes.
Fills are not only for adding new extensions to regrowth. During each appointment, outgrown extensions are carefully removed and new extensions are applied to the healthy base of the natural lash to keep the set balanced and safe.
Appointments scheduled beyond three weeks can begin to compromise retention and overall lash health, as outgrown extensions may twist, shed unevenly, or become too heavy for the tip of the natural lash.
For this reason, fills are based on proper maintenance rather than how full your lashes appear.
Consistent fill appointments ensure clean grow-out, healthy natural lashes, and long-lasting results.
